Today's Recipe
Mushroom burgers

Serves 3-4

Ingredients:

4oz/100g chopped mushrooms
4oz/100g grated cheddar cheese
4oz/100g brown breadcrumbs
4oz/100g finally grated onion
1 level teaspoon - tablespoon chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
1 large egg (beaten)
A little flour
Olive oil





Method:

Put the mushrooms, cheese, breadcrumbs, onions, herbs, seasoning and egg into a bowl and mix thoroughly.

Divide into eight portions and shape into burgers. Then lightly coat in flour.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry over a moderate heat for 15-20 minutes turning until golden.

Serve as you would ordinary burgers. In buns with salad or with potatoes and vegetables.
