Twenty minutes a day in your garden, or watering plants, can have huge health benefits.
According to research published by the PlantforLife campaign, gentle gardening can reduce the risk of heart disease and other chronic illnesses as well as creating a sense of well-being. Dr Ross Cameron of the University of Reading said, "For a feeling of well-being we need exposure to plants or green space for at least a couple of hours a week." |
