The original Lost, this terrifying and exhilarating story of survival exposes the darkness of human nature and questions the assumed innocence of childhood. William Golding''s Lord of the Flies is one of the most disturbing and celebrated novels of modern times and is vividly brought to life at Richmond Theatre in Pilot Theatre’s award-winning production.

A plane has crashed on an uninhabited island. The only survivors are a group of schoolboys. There are no homes or schools, no adults, no rules and before long the boys’ fragile sense of order begins to collapse. Strode Productions'' latest show coming to the Strode Theatre in Street, Somerset, is Bob Carlton''s ''Return to the Forbidden Planet'', which runs from October 7th to 11th.

Features...

The show features a host of toe-tapping musical numbers, so please note: all passengers wishing to come on board will not be "Misunderstood", so rush out like "Great Balls of Fire" to get tickets or you''ll be "Sorry Now". Passengers can bring a "Young Girl" or a "Pretty Woman", because if "She''s not There" they will be "Only The Lonely".

There''s a chance to be "Shake, Rattle and Rolling" in the aisles to "G.L.O.R.I.A", especially if you are "Born to be Wild". If that''s not enough of a cue to the style and type of music then think of bands like The Animals, Brook Brothers, Jerry Lee Lewis, and many, many more.  A fun evening is certain from this talented amateur company.
