Forest Row

Starting at the community centre car park on Hartfield Road, cross the road at the zebra crossing. Follow the path along the right-hand edge of the recreation ground and continue along the surfaced bridleway beyond. This will take you past the timber yard on your left, over a bridge and on to meet the Forest Way Country Park.Turn left and follow the surfaced path to meet a tarmacked driveway. Turn left and follow the drive to its junction with the A22.




Brambletye House

Cross at the pedestrian crossing and continue along the Forest Way opposite.After a distance of roughly 680 metres (740 yards), turn left to join Brambletye Lane. Follow the lane past the ruins of Brambletye House on your left. At the end of the lane, turn left onto the signposted bridleway. Follow the bridleway around the edge of the property to join an old track. Cross the small bridge over the River Medway and continue along the surfaced path to join a tarmacked driveway and on to meet the main service road to WeirWood Reservoir. Turn left and follow the lane to its junction with Priory Road.



Turn left and follow Priory Road back towards the village centre. After passing the petrol station on your left, cross the main road using the pedestrian crossing to reach The Square. Turn right, following the road south, and bear left to join Hartfield Road to return to the community centre on the right.

There are some hills. Heavy rain will affect access in the winter months on some of the paths.

Length: 3 miles (4.5 kilometres)



Route description: A route with no stiles or gates. Large sections of the route have tarmacked surfacing. Some hills and small sections of the route can be difficult after periods of rain.
